Portage Notes: I am wondering if the other review of this portage was of the Mudro-Sandpit portage. This review is for the Sandpit-Tin Can Mike portage. This portage is a little longer, but for the length, this one is about as easy as it gets. It is very flat and the last 1/3 of it (going from Sandpit to Tin Can Mike) consists of double split-log "bridge" over a swampy area. There is a large exposed rock to go over at the Tin Can Mike end of this portage that could be slippery if it was wet. It is very easy to put in the water from the portage at both ends.

Portage Notes: Extremely hard portage...flat at first, but then lots of steep up and down hills, rocky.
