We have another leasurly travel day to the north end of Agnes. WE once again troll our way to camp. We jsut cannot keep the fish off and it takes us all day to just go 5-6 miles. At one point my wife hooks what fights like a walleye, but loses it just before we can see it---I wish we could have seen what it was.

We catch smallies, walleyes, and Lakers. Nothing huge but alot of fun. Interestingly we catch many Lakers in just 20' of water--I was not expecting that in the middle of a sunny day in August. We keep one Laker for dinner and finally reach camp on an Island at the North side of Agnes.

Near camp we find a good swimming spot, but even better for me we find a walleye reef full of 24" walleyes.

Sara finally talks me into heading back to camp to prepare dinner---I hate abandoning a good fishing spot.

We enjoy fire grilled laker with wine.
