We hadn't made pancakes up there before, mostly due to the time involved in making them, but we rigged up Brian's two-burner Coleman Exponent with a cookie sheet and got them done in fairly short order. Brett had brought some dehydrated blueberries that were a nice addition.

Today was a fishing and exploring day around the Falls and Russell. We split up and all had decent action, and we were able to walk up the "tourist trail" on the left of the falls to fish the upper pools. Greg and Brian really got into a nice string of eaters fishing below the main outflow. All of the walleyes that we caught on Russell were decent-sized, probably all 16" and above, with several in the 20-24" range.

Brett had a strawberry cheescake up his sleeve for when we got back, and we couldn't believe how well we were eating on this trip.

We got into the whiskey a bit that night at the campfire, as we celebrated another perfect weather day.
