I woke up with the sun and cleaned our fish from the night before. After smelling frying fish Matt got up and ate with me. We then loaded the canoe and spent the day fishing on Shell, Little Shell and Lynx. We only caught one walleye on Lynx Lake today, however, when reeling in a little small mouth bass a giant walleye followed it to the boat. It had to be pushing ten pounds! We ended our fishing trip by drifting across Shell right back to our campsite. I caught a perch but I think we were moving a little too fast. We were both burnt out from the sun so we went back and took a nap in the shade. We then collected fire wood, made dinner, and ate s'mores before pulling our chairs up to the shore and fishing the rest of the night with drinks in hand and stars overhead. I saw 3 or 4 shooting stars tonight.
