La Tourell’s picked us up in perfect time at PP and we headed to Ely for cold beer, a hot shower hot/fresh food, and comfortable bed. In that order of course. I have been on 16 trips to the BWCA/Quetico, some in early June, some in late, and a couple in late September and the weather during the last part of this trip was the poorest I have experienced. I think I am really lucky. I am also very fortunate that the whole group still enjoyed this trip as much as I did and have been talking about coming back ever since. Good weather or bad we’ll all be back June 2010.
