Today, we went for a walk out on Gunflint Lake to make snow angels on the Canadian Border! On the way back, Adam was getting the dogs ready for sled rides on the lake, so we stopped by to say "hi". One of the dogs named Patience (because she has none according to Adam) has the most beautiful blue eyes.

We spent most of day on a long ski trip. We headed across Gunflint Lake to near the narrows and then headed west into the woods. Eventually, we crossed the Gunflint Trail and then headed up into the hills. The views up there of the surrounding area and Gunflint Lake itself are amazing. We did the Ham Lake trail up there and finished a 8 mile loop back at the lodge. We were pretty tired and warmed ourselves by the fire in the lodge.

It was an amazing time. Thanks Sheryl for all the help! We plan to and did return in 2013.
