Wednesday, September 05, 2012 There was very light rain falling on the tent at six in the morning that convinced me to get a beauty rest instead of loping out of the sack. After an hour and a half the rain stopped and I crawled out to see holes in the sky with ephemeral rays of sunshine. By noon the sun really comes out but it brings rather strong north-northwest winds with it. But the thermometer is in the low seventies and it doesn’t feel so bad. I try fishing Moose Bay. It is a shallow bay that breeds numerous small northerns. Another rain shower convinces me to head back into camp. I am no intrepid fisherman.
