Thursday, June 13, 2013 Caught some fish this morning, and some nice ones that threw the hook. I'm going to have to be more vigilant with these barbless hooks. The tubes are working like magic. Brought a nice laker home for lunch.
This gave me the perfect opportunity to try my Purcell Trench Voyager grill
The grill worked to perfection, but I dropped my fish in the dirt trying to remove it. My meal was a little gritty in places. In the future, maybe I'll bring some tongs.

After a lengthy cleanup, I decide that it's going to be a peanut butter sandwich for dinner. After dinner, I start to think that I may have too much peanut butter. Funny, because I changed to a bigger container, thinking I had too little in the 4 oz Nalgene. There's no way I'm going to eat double that amount.

Haven't peed all day. That explains the dark urine. I'm obviously dehydrated. Pumping water is problematic with the pollen and seeds in the water. The fuzzy seed blooms also stick to fishing line, and are very hard to pick off. Even the middle of the lake is full of pollen and seeds. Fish don't seem to mind.
