Saganagons, Cache Bay. 7.5 miles 1.5 miles one way from camp to pictos

One of my favorite moments of this trip was Lauren cooking M&M pancakes and pancakes for breakfast. With each trip I've taken her on she learns new things and gets more involved in the camp chores.

The plan today was to head back to Cache Bay and find a camp on the south side to make for an easy exit the next day. This time we took the Silver Falls portage and took some time to enjoy the falls. Even in late August they are still impressive.

We were very fortunate to cross Cache Bay when she wasn't raging. Twice in one trip is very rare, but we'll take it!

After staking a claim on a camp just west of the ranger cabin on a point, we paddled over to the pictos found in the far west bay of Cache Bay. These pictos are some of the nicer ones in the park. I had not seen them in person before, so it was great to experience them for the first time with Lauren.

Our camp was big and open with plenty of large trees, good shade, a breeze and plenty of good tent pads.

Yet another glorious sunset!
