Trip Introduction:
This trip report is different from what most of you are accustomed to seeing on here but I thought you might enjoy a glimpse at a typical multi-day float in my neck of the woods. This was a Father's Day weekend trip with two dads/sons, two single friends and my daughter and me. Come on down and I'll take you on one!
Report
The Buffalo is a precious gem in my home state. I paddle and row all over Arkansas and Missouri, but the Buffy is by far my favorite, at least for float camping.

On Father's Day weekend I took a group of eight including two dads and their sons, two single friends and my daughter and myself from Rush Landing on the lower Buffalo to Shipp's Ferry on the White. This is a thirty mile trip. We launched around 6:00 Friday evening and took out around 2:00 Sunday afternoon. In between we camped on gravel bars, fished, played, had epic water wars, ate with abandon and made lifelong memories. It was an incredible trip.

Here's a link to some of the pics that provide a good representation of the trip. I'll let them tell the tale. Hope you enjoy!
