Day seven, our last day in Quetico Park arrived way too soon for me. We started off the day with a short paddle and hike to Sue Falls. It was worth the additional effort. After this we started the day of portages out of Quetico to our pick up point. We bid goodbye on Cirrus Lake and proceeded up through Sue Lake/Cirrus Creek-Cole-Lark-Bewag-Unnamed Lake and finally Lerome Lake. There is a nice little tiny falls at Lerome. We made our final paddle up to the north end of Lerome Lake to have lunch and wait for our pickup. The driver had some issues and the rain moved back in after Lunch, so we were treated to nearly three hours of rain while waiting for the van. At long last it arrived and we made our way back to base camp to clean and check in our gear prior to one last night in Canada, this time in a cabin bunk. More importantly was food that wasn't trail food, showers and clean clothes!
