Monday, June 20, 2016 Windbound. If you don't know what this is, it's a 30mph wind going in the direction you don't want to go. Saw a couple canoes still trying to make a go of it though! Caught more than a dozen smallies around the island from shore - spinnerbaits in the wind was the ticket. Ate well, napped, dried out our gear, made some improvements to camp and cut some firewood for the people coming after us. Found a snake. Blueberries are not quite ready, maybe 2 more weeks... By the evening, the wind died down and the lake laid down. Got out into the reeds and caught some bass and pike. Top water frogs were quite the thing!
