Thursday, August 03, 2017 Last morning trolled for trout on the way to Hook Island and got skunked again. Drove home with no issues and crossed Kawnipi off my bucket list. Then thought about it a little bit
and added it back. Thoughts: Next time I will two days to get to Kawnipi. I won't take cast iron if there are a lot portages. Make sure we have enough fish breading. Even though this is a well used route it seemed much more remote then anything in the bdub.
