Monday, August 28, 2017 Layover day on Kawnipi. Started out cool and misty but the weather turned around noon and the canoe country gods smiled down upon us with gorgeous weather. Caught a few nice fish off the campsite and a few while out paddling around. Got all of our wet gear dried out, lounged around, had a nice supper and quiet evening. It was a good day to catch our breath and get our stride back. Tomorrow we will head for Agnes via McVicar Bay, Anubis and Bird.
