Trip Introduction:
After several months of winter camping, we decided to take a quick trip to the pictographs for our seasonal finale. My two camping partners, my 13 year old son and 8 year old daughter were very excited and ready to go.
Day 1 of 2
Friday, March 09, 2007

Arrived at south hegman around noon. The day was cloudy and windy. temps around 25 degrees. Loaded the sleds and headed out.

Not enough snow to snowshoe. Walking was not too difficult. Made camp. Set up tents and started a fire. Dinner was ready by dark. The wind was picking up and the temp was rising!

Around 8 pm we crawled in the tents for a night of card and harmonica playing. By 10 pm all were asleep
