We decided that we should probably head back closer towards Snowbank as my buddy's flight out the next day was at 3:30pm and we didn't think it would be smart to try and cover all the miles and navigate some of the rocky entryways into the portages early in morning in the dark.

We packed up camp and made our way towards the portage into Jordan. The portages were pretty busy and we ended up following a couple groups all the way back to Disappointment. The first island site was available so we grabbed it. It was a really nice island site and had great views of the sunset. We spent the afternoon and evening eating and drinking down some of our remaining items in the food barrel so it would be as light as possible!

We thought we were going to be able to enjoy the full moon as we didn't have bugs all day but we were wrong. I can honestly say that I have never experienced mosquitoes in the BWCA like we did this evening. When laying the tent you could actually here them buzzing from outsite. ~Ima Lake, Jordan Lake, Cattyman Lake, Adventure Lake, Jitterbug Lake, Ahsub Lake, Disappointment Lake
