Day 11 of 11
Friday, August 30, 2024 Well, I survived the night! i mentioned the wind and cousin Mart said "what wind?" he was around the corner and I guess it wasn't as strong there. The tarp survived too so I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought. Anyway, more wind today and I was happy to be on my way back to civilization. we got in the canoe and paddled across so we could turn towards PP with a good tail wind. And almost dumped in the turn, or so it felt in the front of the Mn II. All in all it was a great trip. We accomplished our goal of relaxing. Nice to have no pressure to get somewhere and take it as we wanted. The down side was the wind. It blew hard more days than not. Didn't ruin the trip but it would have been nice to have more calm days. We had mostly great campsites with no complaints. As for people, we saw some every day. It wasn't like south of the border but certainly wasn't like our last trip up the Man Chain, We didn't see a soul for at least six days on that trip. I guess that's what you get when you go to popular lake like Agnes. It's still one of the most awesome places to spend an adventure in the wild. I'll be baack .
