Tuesday, July 01, 2025 Portage out from Horseshoe to caribou was okay (21r). Caribou had strong winds, not an easy paddle. Beautiful campsites on caribou. Portage from caribou to lizz was incredibly flat and well-kept with a dock at the end.

Lizz was good, but difficult fighting the wind going north.

Lizz > Poplar another easy portage, well-kept.

When leaving Poplar to go to Rockwood, look to the left and you will see a green cabin with big windows. Navigate toward this and go between cabin and white dot (which is a boat motor) to the small inlet. Once you emerge from this, the outfitters will be to your right.
