Sunday, June 24, 2007 More of the same. Still nice weather, swimming, fishing, sleeping in the hammock, watching for eagles and moose and such (didn’t see any moose on this trip but I have seen them in here before). I paddled the boys around just before sunset and discover that the nice site at the elbow is now vacant so we will head there tomorrow. I have been taking tons of pictures. I am an artist and I shoot a lot of reference photos up here. The flies are particularly bad this year but I don’t worry too much about bugs or not catching fish. I just love being up here. The other canoes that came in Saturday left today. I think we have the whole chain to ourselves.
