Trip Introduction:
Goal was to get to Sagus and back in 4 nights, see if the walleye hype was real and do a trip that wasn't a basecamp trip. Disclaimer: we traveled fast, partially due to favorable winds most of the trip (we aren't great paddlers). We also single portaged, my wife is a portage machine and I'm just stubborn enough to try and keep up.

Est. miles paddled: 14.6 Portages: 12 @ est. 609 rods Notes: Loved both sites visited, caught smallies from our site on Beaver Lake, gentle tail wind most of the day, portages mostly well maintained and manageable. Bugs were incredibly mild.
