06/09/2019 09:27PM I think there is a straight line of site but it's pretty close. The bigger issue is the site is elevated up a rock face and the canoe landing is a bit more to the west. If there is a tarp up it should be easy. If canoes are there but pulled up, or where I set my tent close to the fire it may or may not be clearly visible. A five minute paddle would make certain though. |

06/09/2019 08:31PM Yeah, You should be able to see it from the Eugene (?) portage. Not sure if it’s Eugene or Little Beartrack. Anyway, you should be able to see it as it sits on a rock outcropping raised up directly across the lake. Tony |

06/09/2019 02:19PM I’ll be camping and or fishing on Fat Lake in the next two weeks. I’m planning to enter from the maintained portage. Question: Will I be able to see the campsite and if it is occupied from the portage? I am hoping to scout the site before I lug all my gear over the portage. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
