I am reviving a trip timed to piggy-back with the fall wingnight as life returns to some of its great traditions. I come from cental Iowa and the wingnight is a nice travel break and gives me two rewards for about the same time. I solo so often pick a route the week or so before I leave. I have done some research for BWCA then Wingnight or reverse and am leaning towards Wingnight then BWCA. I would like to spend four or five nights in the BWCA and am in training expecting I can travel about ten miles per day. I make my own schedule so am flexible.
The invite. While I enjoy solo trips, I have really enjoyed planned meetups with other members for a night along the way and am open to sharing a permit with another soloist. If interested post here or put BWCA in your email header.
YoHoo...looking forward to this.!
