01/04/2024 08:56PM Interesting. I caught a pike with one on Sturgeon Lake...didn't know how common they were. The mouths on those things are the stuff of nightmares. |

10/04/2023 12:06PM I was fishing on Fred and caught a pike with an eel attached. I met another guy and he said that he and his son had caught two with eels. I am not an eel expert so I can't say for sure that they were Lampreys but the one I caught sure looked like the ones that I have seen in pictures. I wonder how prevalent eels are in the park. Have you caught fish with eels in Q? Recently or a long time ago? If they are Lampreys I wonder how they got there. |
