I put a note about this on the "lost and found" link, too, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to do another post.

On June 9, I found the butt section of a nice Fenwick fishing rod at a campsite on an island in Lake Agnes. I brought it home, hoping I might find the owner. Our whole trip, I thought about the poor person fishing with a stick and some string!

I've already called the Ely radio station and a bunch of Ely outfitters and left messages, and I posted on Quiet Journey. If anyone has any other ideas about how to get the word out, let me know.

And if you think you're the owner of the rod, give me a description, and if your story fits, I'll do what I can to get this thing back to you.
