I apologize because I think this was answered but is there a village and is it worth stopping at? Seemed kind of interesting to drop in by canoe and have lunch at a local diner.

Any other special sites on LLC we shouldn't miss? Planning on going down northern edge before heading out through LIS.

I don't know much about the "Village at Lac Lacroix" I've stopped at the Ranger Station there, but there didn't seem to be much around...is there anything to see, a cafe? anything?

The village is a First Nation village, like many others scattered across the bush in Canada. No diner as far as I know. Might be interesting to walk around though.
