Canoeing from Crane lake maybe one night on Vermillion or Loon and second night in LLC? Besides the expected tow traffic, is there a lot of other motor traffic?

Also, what can anyone tell me about the loop - perhaps starting at Crane -to Loon, up and across Namakan, and back to Crane via Sand Point? I assume crown land permit on Canadian side?

Definitely a RABC permit for travel in Canada. I paddled from Crane to Lac La Croix a few years ago. There is plenty of motorboat traffic on the route.
