Hello. Put this on the Quetico spot and only got one reply, and not fully answered.
If I go east on Have a Smoke portage into Shelly, and then north into a no name, can the creek be paddled north into Alice?
If I then take the portage from Alice into Gahn, can I then paddle the creek into Chatterton? Or is Gahn a dead end lake like Draper? Thanks.
Just two weeks off now.

With the water levers this year you can easily go up Alice Creek. There is a short portage of about 25 yards over rocks and there could be no more than 2 beaver dams. The portage from Alice to Gahn is very doable with only one tree to walk around. But there is no portage from Gahn to Charteton and unless you want to try and drag the creek (not recommended) I would just day trip to Gahn and go out on the easy portage from Alice to Chaterton. There are big walleye in Gahn and great bass fishing in Alice.
