Just posted another video on my Youtube Channel.....finally able to walk across the lake, a good solid 12 inches of ice underfoot now and we're making more everyday. I hauled a sled for a few KM's to a nice point, sheltered from the wind and made traditional camp using Spruce boughs.....the location is roughly 20 KM from Woodland Caribou Park, so this is crown land and harvesting boughs is permitted.
It was a good day of enjoying the forest, making fire, cooking up some sausage and enjoying all the pleasures of the north woods. Have a look if you're interested. Happy New Year!
