After checking in on this site often in the past I've now slowed to an occasional visit. My last trip to the BWCA was in 2014 and it's a treat to lurk and read/learn what is going on through the forum. Hoping to get back into canoe camping but some health issues are a roadblock at this time. I'm not giving up so call me crazy. I still canoe and fish around home north of Madison, WI so trying to stay with it.

I was thrilled to see the reopening of the Pow Wow trail being shared. in 2008 my crew did a trip on the Isabella River and I thought Quadga Lake was a jewel. We had the campsite that adjoined the Pow Wow trail and on a windy day we chose wisely and took a long hike on the trail. Some great memories of that trip remain and I went through old photos today to refresh. I can't help but wonder if any here have been through that area lately and have photos of its status anywhere from right after the fire to current time? I'd love to see and compare it to what I experienced on that trip 13 years ago.

Thanks in advance. Happy tripping and stay safe. Have Canoecopia on the calendar.
