I got a text last night from a friend who had planned to finish their border route trip from last year that was cut short due to water levels on the Pigeon river. Same happened again and they need (want) a shuttle from McFarland Campground to the GP visitor center. I picked them up last year and, while its a nice drive from Duluth, I'd rather not. :)
I left a message with the Superior hiking shuttle and a gal named Harriette who is retired..
Does anyone know who I could call to see about getting these three fellas a ride this afternoon, 5/31, or tomorrow morning, 6/1?
Cheers,
Dan

Thanks for the reply. Their site needs to be booked 3 days but I've left them a message. Sounds like they may be able to do a custom pick up, but don't open until later in the morning.

Thanks for the generous offer. I got in touch with Charles from superior hiking shuttles and got it sorted out.

Okay, happy things worked out.

I've just gotta say how much you all made my day with your kind helpfulness towards the stuck paddlers. It's my favorite thing about folks on this site and is a reminder of how many good people are out there. May you always get the same back your way. Thanks.
