I leave for WCPP on Friday night. Drive to Siuox Falls, SD to see grandson and kids and stay with them, and the up early Saturday Aug 7 for the drive to Red Lake, ON. I will Put in Aug 8 and be back either Sunday or Monday. I got a permit for 8 nights so could take a little more time. So 9 days and 8 nights in the Park. Thank YOU ALL for all you have done for me and just being here.
First Solo and I am excited. Trip report to follow.

just a heads up...some portage landings can be difficult to locate. remember to always look for the blaze(s). they arent new and obvious but they are there at the more hidden landings. also, look for a little bit of orange tape, attached to a birch branch, stuck in the marsh. (hey, i was only replacing some that was really faded) :)
