Hi everyone,
i was at french lake this past long weekend and took the opportunity to take a drive down stanton bay road to see what condition it was in.

pls be aware there was activity on that road so pls be cautious. i think they may be cutting back in there.

the road was in pretty decent condition. it is a slow drive though. if you have a vehicle menat for off roading it certainly goes quicker.

only a couple of minor muddy areas. but pls be aware that after any hard rains that could quickly change.

i think it took us about 30 to 40 min to go the roughly 14.5kms.

i believe the portage was about 450 meters? has some steep sections and was very muddy and wet. obviously that will change week to week depending on weather.

sorry for anyone who was up that way trying to head west. the winds were not kind this past weekend.

no mosquitos to report, but the black flies have gotten worse the past two weeks and are def biting now. i think i will stay home for the next month or so. lol
