My boys and I are heading into Argo on June 18th hoping to land a lake trout or two. Any suggestion on where and what lures work best? Also looking to slam some SMB. Where are they bedding?

Smallies on the Shioban River toward Roland. Lakers in Roland as well. Blue little Cleo. Purpledescent deep tail dancer.

A thread with a marked up map here . I’ve caught lakers in marked spots on that map - both in Argo and Roland.

This map is about 20 years old but maybe it will help.
