02/20/2019 06:32PM Yeah, I was there, a little SW of you. It looks almost as bad as the weather I had :) It was windy. Sun, rain, sun, freezing rain, sun, sleet, sun, hail, sun, snow, sun, more of the same overnight. |

02/20/2019 12:41PM Ha, we were there that day last fall (Sept 29th)! We were taking out of Nina Moose River. Windy as heck and rainy. Just after lunch it started raining and then it snowed about an hour after that. We were cursing the weather the whole time, that by the time we got to the truck (around 4:00 or so) it was sunny and clear. On the drive back, it started to snow again by the time we left Orr. |

02/19/2019 12:40PM We built a "super shelter" at the camp site. Rocks stacked up on and around the grill to make an oven, and a larger tarp in a "lean to" configuration that covered the fire grate. As long as we kept it to orange glowing coals with no flames we could sit in under the tarp out of the wind and keep really warm. We are working on a premade shelter that would be a leanto with sides, and a mylar sheet between the fire and the sitting area to keep out the smoke. |

02/19/2019 11:46AM I was a few lakes west of you on this day either 9/28 or 9/29 on Cherry lake. The first few snows this fall were really pretty days. Thanks for the video |

02/18/2019 11:12AM Last year we went up to Seagull Lake the last week of September. The weather went from sunny and upper 40's to rain then sleet then snow and back again. . . twice. . .in a span of 2 hours. Video link below! Changing weather in BWCA! |
