Lots of pike in Jackfish nothing very big but it was a fun and scenic adventure. Let me know how it goes in May, as we will be going in June and will most likely take a day trip back there.I will, and thanks again. |

02/28/2019 05:29PM Yep, it was not bad at all in July, May should be even easier. If memory serves, it took us a couple hours to get in there. We fished for a few hours and came out. 02/28/2019 11:32AM I am an infrequent poster, but have been lurking a bit since we are planing a Trip to Thursday Bay this Summer My son and I made a day trip in July 2016 from Thursday Bay to Jackfish Lake. The portages are a little overgrown but easy to follow. We were mostly able to paddle the creek, just a few pullovers and some canoe dragging near Jackfish. We didn't paddle Wabosons, but we did walk over there from Jackfish. |
