12/27/2019 08:35AM RABC website for application: RABC Ontario fishing card and licence application: Fishing Card Permit reservation: Permits For my trips in the summer I usually apply in January for all that stuff. Or at least I try to remember to apply in January. |

12/26/2019 09:36PM Prairie Portage has no customs officers. Park personnel have no immigration authority. An RABC is required for crossing without immigration authorities- this includes PP and Saganaga. |

12/26/2019 09:24PM Do you still need an RABC if you're crossing through a ranger station? I thought they were only for if you're crossing in remote areas without officials. |

12/04/2019 08:46AM Permit reservations at 5 months to the day in advance of the entry. Call or login in early for on that day if you must have that entry on that date. Not much competition like there used to be, but be safe. RABC is good for a year. Unless you think you can capture this trip and an early one next year, apply 2-4 months in advance and be safe. Can't help with fishing and outdoors card, but think you can do both online nearly last minute. The newer drivers licenses (star? Enhanced?) I think work from entering US from Canada, if that's all you need it for. |

12/04/2019 12:11AM I haven't done much digging yet as harvest has druuuuuug on here forever so we're still pretty busy. That said, four of us are hoping to make a Q trip in August or September of next year. I always read people saying to send in this, apply for that early, etc. How early and for what permits or details? I'm hoping to start at LaTourells and head NW from PP toward Sarah and that area. McIntire? My dad has been there long ago and wants to go back, the other three of us have never been to the Q. Fishing licenses, outdoor card, passport, RABC? Obviously the passport is on us here and we have those...but the rest is new to me. Thanks! |
