andym	01/25/2021 09:51PM Think about the Spring Creek drop in seat or their combination seat/yoke. We have the latter in a 17’ alumacraft and it works well. Or just buy a seat and install it where you want it.

moriver	01/25/2021 07:59PM I have a 17-foot AlumaCraft canoe. I want to accommodate a third person, but the middle brace (with portage pads) makes leg room and trim adjustments difficult. Can I remove the middle brace and not substantially weaken the canoe? Thanks for your thoughts.
