01/02/2022 08:35AM Who's got plans to get into the BWCA for some winter camping in the next few months?! I can't wait to get into the backcountry with a hot tent and stove and spend some time trekking, camping, wood processing and of course, ice fishing. While I'd love to be outside right now (currently -31 without wind chill in Ely), I am not necessarily upset I had to miss BWCA trout opener this year. I've got trips planned for the next two weekends and I am hoping the weather will be a little more cooperative. For now, I'll have to settle for watching last year's vids.
