HighnDry	05/07/2022 06:48PM South Kawishiwi campground is about 10 minutes south of Ely. You can get a site there usually without a problem. Birch campground is about 8 minutes south of town but off a dirt fire road to the west. It just about always has a campsite or two available. Just an FYI as a fall-back option.
