Wish I had known and had the knowledge and will to do something that awesome for a summer when I was young! Was up on Iron Lake a couple weeks ago. The damage on the north shore was significant. I bet the portages are in tough shape in the areas that were hit heaviest by the fire. Doing something like that when young would have been great. Now that I’m retired and presumably have the time, I’m too old (56) and life is more complicated. |
