If you already scheduled to pick up through an outfitter you will need to call the ranger station to move it. Agreed. That function is disabled for me. I have the Tofte Ranger Station selected to pick up my next permit and want to change it to a co-op and it won't let me do it. |

Nope, my one set to pick up at Gunflint Ranger Station permit does not allow me to change the issuer nor did my earlier one I had to change from Kawishiwi Station to an outfitter. |

I called them today to change to Frost R in Duluth. |

07/06/2022 01:15PM Im pretty sure you can change your permit pick up point on the website as long as you originally select a ranger station pickup. If you already scheduled to pick up through an outfitter you will need to call the ranger station to move it. I just did this last week and the ranger confirmed the above details. |

07/05/2022 06:52PMadam: "I thought they changed it so you could move it from a FS office to a cooperator, but not from cooperator to cooperator or back to a FS office? Have they stopped all moves?" They have stopped all electronic changes on the rec.gov site, but will change them any which way with a phone call. |

07/04/2022 02:49PM I noticed that users can no longer modify BWCA permit issue station on the Recreation.gov website once a reservation has been made. The link to modify is visible but inactive. I have been in touch with Recreation.gov via email and phone; they claim they cannot modify the permit pick up location, and gave me the phone number for Sup Natl Forest supervisor in Duluth. I suspect the option to change where we pick up permits has been taken away. Anyone know what's up with this? |
