Hello hello!

We were there over there the week of labor day. Cherokee Creek was fine. There was on beaver damn I believe but we quite got out of the canoe and slipped over it. I believe if you stay to the right as you go towards Cherokee Lake you will be fine.

Ada Creek was passable, but not by much, between Ada and Skoop lakes, but they also got a bunch of rain last week so I imagine it is doable. The makeshift portage, in case of low water, had about as much water as the creek, so paddling worked a lot better than walking. There was actually only one portage necessary between Ada and Skoop.

There was also a beaver dam along the Temperance but we were able to scoot right over it.

I am planning to enter at Sawbill in two weeks and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the water levels on Cherokee Creek and Ada Creek. The tentative plan is to do a loop from Sawbill, up to Cherokee Lake, down the Temperance chain and back to Sawbill. Are the creeks are currently passible?

Thanks!
