Be sure to check the weather as wind could be a factor in your trip. " Yes... that looks like a good route. Skipping a portage and paddling around is a nice option. We'll have time to pick our day, keeping an eye on the weather. If my cousin balks, I may consider a solo outing.

bobbernumber3	02/25/2023 05:19PM No round trip. Just a one-way trip from Mudro back to Fall Lake Campground and our RVs. We spend a week motor-boat fishing area lakes and need to take a break from that to do some tripping. Our wives will be dropping us off at the parking lot while we make a BWCA day-trip.

I had the impression you were base camping and wanted to do a roundtrip between Fall and Mudro in one day, which would be a total travel time of 12-14 hours. If you are doing a roundtrip, more power to you.

Thinking ahead for June when my cousin and I will be camped at Fall Lake for several days. He has very little tripping experience and I'd like to get him a good exposure to the BWCA. Is this a good plan?
