03/24/2023 05:29PM Oh man, your report read almost exactly like my experience back in 2019 to Tuscarora. Same thing happened to me with the great, trampled path to the lake, then it snows on ya while there, and then having to break trail all the way back. I agree, that experience is probably the hardest thing I had to do as well. Great report. Miigwech |

I considered doing the Pine lake winter trip after reading your report on it as I was planning this trip. Decided on trout numbers and I was at the easternmost campsite on Pine last year during paddling season and it had been a few years since I've been to Tuscarora Lake. |
