06/01/2010 01:20PM The island site is larger and has trails to walk around to different parts of the island. The site nearest the portage to Fredrick is smaller, but has a nice view. I like the island site better. I haven't seen the third site. |

05/31/2010 08:52PM Thoroughly enjoyed the report. I've been through that area twice. Stayed at the island campsite on Wine the first time and loved it. Checked it out a few years later (2006 or 2007?) and a large tree had fallen right in near the firegrate and kind of ruined it. Glad it is back in good condition again. Loved the ambition you guys had to go back over to Mug to get the snow to cool the beers. Me, I would have just drank the warm beer and talked about going over to Mug. |

05/25/2010 11:02PM Glad you had a good time. I love this area, in part due to the fact you have to work to get there. I liked the ice bucket idea for the beer. What a great idea! And glad you found the plane wreck. Pretty interesting way out there to see. |
