08/14/2011 05:36PM Great report and thanks for sharing. Glad you guys had fun. We took our 5 year old daughter there last year in July for her first trip. It's a great intro trip for kiddos. We stayed at the same site as you and loved it. Our daughter swam for hours. We entered on a Mon. so were lucky and didn't see many people. Leeches and a pink jig were the ticket for her with the walleye. |

08/13/2011 12:44AM Nice report. Did this two years ago with my girls, much the same feeling. Fishing was ok, quite a few folks, and we blew through 1.5 filters in 4 days with our basecamp. By comparison, used same filter on this years trip. Was still running clear and fast on day 4. |
