KentuckyScouter	08/30/2012 11:55PM I always used an over the neck lanyard for them when I was dogsledding in Maine...but then they were $70 mittens too.

CrookedPaddler1	07/06/2012 09:52AM I have some that are made from yarn that was woven together -- got as a tip from a client many years ago. They have been attached to my choppers ever since.
yellowcanoe	07/05/2012 07:58PM Crochet yourself a chain to the length you want. All it requires is a few cents of yarn and crochet hook. Or ask a crocheting friend to do this. You can do a chain that is long enough in under ten minutes.

Just wondering who here uses the mitten cords from childhood that connects both mittens together so you can take off your mitten and let it dangle from your sleeve? I've always worried about losing a mitten so maybe I'm a bit paranoid. However, rather than having to set down a mitten I would rather not worry about getting snow in it or losing it in the snow. If you use them what brand do you use and where could I get some?
