Wow, what a report.! I am awe struck. Speechless (almost). A friend mentioned this place to me years ago (before he moved out to CA). I am totally awe struck. This sounds like the perfect place for me to plan next years solo. Thank you so much for sharing. You are an inspiration. Now I have to go view your photos and video. Wow.

quote BnD: "Great report. Curious, Why would you get up in the middle of the night start a fire and go back to bed? You lost me there."

Cause I am not "normal" :)

Great report. Curious, Why would you get up in the middle of the night start a fire and go back to bed? You lost me there.

Paul,
Nice report, sounds like you had a Fantastic trip. I'm headed up to WC the middle of Sepember for a week or so trip. I find myself counting the days until I can leave. Nothing like a solo trip to the north country. Good Luck.

Great report Paul. We're heading in next week and will at least be on one of your lakes (Haggart). I'll bet the rainbow was Molly saying "hi"....

Nice report, especially the well-put final thoughts on solo paddling. --Goose

What an amazing adventure you were on! I love that there is now an island named after Molly. A wonderful tribute to her.

Thanks for posting this. Have been looking forward to it. Love the pics and videos.

Awesome report Paul! For those of us who get that "feeling" which I'm sure most people in here do, it's hard to describe in words what it means to you, but you have a gift for doing just that! Truly inspiring!

Thanks for the report. 20 days to go for me. I too have a goal but realize conditions need to dictate how much of it I accomplish.

Paul - thanks for the inspiring report and amazing photos. Makes the wait for our next trip (in 25 days) that much harder.

Hope all your trips are this fulfilling...
