Trip Report - Wood Lake Long Weekend

Yep, boats are there as were the ducks. Boats were half full of water so I tipped them over and put the life vest on the stump.
No yoke for the yak...just double carry. The tandem would be hard for one person anyway. I think I quad portaged on the way in. (Because I got there an hour ahead of the others.) And tripled on the way out.
Next time we will skip the solitude for an easy put in like 3 years ago.
The guy I got my map from said it was a resort that had them...??? I may have heard him wrong. He also said that back in the day he would DRIVE down to the lake. You had to have a good 4x4 but it could be done."</quote>
