Dad and I fished there a couple days early June. Between the two months since, and especially the seasonal difference, I don't consider my information even close to the"recent" you're looking for.
That said, the part of Crooked we fished most seriously was (I believe) Saturday Bay, and particularly the mouth and just east. Even a slight discernible current meant walleyes. Decent smb were pretty easy to come by on #7 and #9 Rapalas in about any color over a firm bottom that wasn't slab rock in 4-8 fow. No live bait used, btw.

I have fished it one other time in late August and that was two years ago. I don't think we will get the action we would hope for down in the bays. I suppose we will have to stay North closer to the current. To bad as one of my sons loves the camp sites Friday Bay has to offer.
